Fair Winds

"Fair winds and following seas" - a blessing wishing the recipient a safe journey and good fortune.

The Fair Winds app offers tools for every boater, especially the non-geek, who should feel at ease using the simple and intuitive interface, and the zen-like, who will never be distracted by any advertisement or requests for in-app purchases.

The following tools are included:

- navigation (position, speed, course, local time, trip data, waypoint data)

- waypoints

- compass

- anchor watch (with speed over ground monitoring, and configurable alarm)

- man over board

- handbook

The handbook is frequently updated with new content, and already contains sections related to various topics such as radio communications (VHF channels, Mayday procedure, ...), meteorology, units conversion, etc.

The following features are supported:

- position and waypoint sharing

- day/night mode, to ease screen reading in various lighting conditions

All tools and features are offered without any ads or in-app purchases.
