The degree of slimming properties is determined by the amount of Lycra or Spandex that is used in each panel. For this reason, many teens that are somewhat apprehensive about wearing bathing suits can do so with confidence.

A large number of junior's bathing suits are in the style of a tankini. This is a two piece suit that combines a tank style top with a bikini style bottom. With this style of swimwear teens can choose the degree of exposure they want. For instance, a halter style top coupled with a low rise brief bottom gives moderate coverage so that only a small amount of flesh is exposed. One the other hand, a bandeau style top and a bikini style bottom only offers minimal coverage for your teen.
