Light Upon Light

The foundation is aimed at igniting the intrinsic abilities of a woman, so that she can ignite those around her to be a community of lightness coming out of the dark and the social ills that surround us. It is aimed at addressing the needs of every woman across her entire lifespan. Based on the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the hadith his ummah’s lifespan is between 60 and 70 years, the lifespan of a woman was divided into six age categories, each with its own unique focus and outcomes.

“Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the earth… Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills.” – Surah Nur v35
