Noteify: Melody to Notes

Noteify listens to the melody you play or sing through the microphone and shows it as music notation. You can edit it, add chords, and play it back. A piano keyboard, notation, chord detection, and melody variations in one app.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Live note detection: Play or sing into the microphone and notes appear on the staff.

Four detection modes: HPS, YIN, ENS (a vote between several algorithms), and POLY (evaluates piano and voice separately). Try a different mode for different sounds.

Piano keyboard (C2–C7): Press several keys at once and jump around the keyboard with the octave map.

Note editing: Tap a note to change its pitch, insert a note before or after it, delete it, or turn it into a rest. Supports 4/4, 3/4, and 2/4 time.

Fix (automatic correction): Tries to correct common detection errors such as octave jumps, one-note glitches, wrong sharps, repeated notes, and rhythm. If you don't like the result, use Undo to go back.

Scale selection: Snap the melody to the scale you choose.

Chord mode: Detects chords while you play and shows them bar by bar. Tap a chord to edit it and listen to chords together with the melody or on their own.

Variation: Generates rhythm and pitch variations of your saved melody. You can always return to the original melody with "Restore original".

Playback: Listen with transposition in semitones and an adjustable tempo percentage.

Save: Your melodies are stored on your device and are still there after you close and reopen the app.

HOW TO USE

Choose a detection mode, tap "Listen", and grant microphone permission.

Play or sing your melody. Notes are written onto the staff.

Tap "Stop". Edit the notes, use "Fix" to correct them automatically, try "Variation", and "Save" when you are happy.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Note detection is automatic and is not guaranteed to be accurate. Wrong or missing notes can occur with fast tempos, in noisy places, in recordings where several sounds overlap, and with weak microphones. If a piece is fast, playing it more slowly often improves detection. For best results, play or sing clear single-note melodies in a quiet place. Checking the results and correcting them by hand when needed is up to you.

PRIVACY

The microphone is used only to detect notes in real time. Audio is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. There are no accounts, ads, or tracking. Saved melodies stay on your device only. See the Privacy Policy inside the app for details.
