People Logger

The People Logger allows a user to rapidly sign in to a Business or Event using their phone. The user is in full control of what information gets transferred.

Using a QR code created in Contacts, a user can pass along important contact information, quickly, securely and reliably. QR stands for “Quick Response” and consists of an array of black and white squares used for storing information that can be read by People Logger.

People Logger can be used by any business or event like a restaurant, coffee shop, dentist, or a department store, to log who is entering into their establishment.

The basic concept is to easily and quickly allow your visitors to log their Name, phone number, and arrival time, just by showing their phone as they walk-in.  The app logs every visitor and the time they arrived.  A business will have a record of every visitor, and a contact number.  This information can be used in several ways:  

1. As a marketing tool, People Logger will allow your business to know who has been at your establishment or event.

2. This information with a time stamp could be used to notify customers if there was anyone who was known to be in the restaurant on the same day and time who had been ill.

HOW IT WORKS

The app uses the latest technology to make transfer of basic user information like name, phone number, and email address simple, easy, straight forward, and reliable. 

Users will show a QR code displayed on their phone.   This is already available on millions of Android phones.  QR codes are easily created on Android phones using PHONE contacts.  For those phones without this capability, you can download “Entry Logger”.  

The basic concept is to easily allow visitors to quickly transfer information about themselves, eg: Name and Phone number, just by showing a QR code on your phone as you walk-in. The Establishment will then have a record of your visit, including the day and time. This gives the establishment the means to contact every user who visited during a specific day and time.
