  Start Shock and Slam from water balance: scan algae and cloudiness, or set your own chlorine target, no scan required. Ordinary suggestions stay below the severe-algae level. On the algae sheet, your own target is a primary action. Dose to target and in-range Adjust to target are Pool Club features. If free chlorine is already at a combined-chlorine shock level, you'll see Already at shock target instead of a lower dose. Also: older History tests, monthly test-strip usage, and High pH Dry Acid.
