It is a fully working replacement for the Home button, lock button, media buttons, and can handle device display brightness and device radios including WiFi and Bluetooth. QuickSwitch is created in the effort to prolong the lifespan of devices which rely on phyiscal buttons to do these actions. As QuickSwitch is all implemented in software, it will not degrade over time, allowing users with ever very old devices to still use them operate as if they were new.
