Rush Greatest Hits

Rush is a Canadian rock band formed in August 1968, in the Willowdale neighborhood of Toronto, Ontario, composed of bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. The band and its membership went through several reconfigurations between 1968 and 1974, achieving their current form when it replaced the original Peart drummer John Rutsey in July 1974, two weeks before the group's first US tour.

Since the release of the band's debut album in March 1974, Rush has become famous for his instrumental skills from its members, complex compositions, and eclectic lyrical motifs drawing heavily on science fiction, fantasy, and philosophy, and addressing humanity, social, emotional, and environmental issues life.

Music, Rusli's style has changed over the years, beginning in blood vessels that inspired Rock blues on their first album, then covering hard rock, progressive rock, and periods by using heavy synthesizers. They have been referred to as influences by various musical artists, including Metallica, [1] Primus, [2] and The Smashing Pumpkins [2] as well as progressive metal bands such as Dream Theater, [1] and Symphony X. Rush has won a number of Juno Awards, and inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994. More than their careers, Rush members have been recognized as some of the most adept players on their respective instruments, with each band member winning various award in the magazine's readers' polls. The band toured the Time Machine Tour, which is expected to run through North and South America and ends October 17. After completing the tour, the band is scheduled to continue writing and recording their next studio album, Clockwork Angels, to be released in early 2011..
