Remember the game from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' movie, when Will Turner wagered his soul against the key to the chest? You, too, can play Liar's Dice like he did—and you don't even have to bargain away your life!

The rules vary greatly from country to country. As i descent from the scandic region, i have chosen the rules from there. To avoid confusion the rules are described in the following:

Before the game begins, the amount of participating players are chosen. The players then decide on a starting order, and position themselves accordingly.

Each player begins with 4 dice under dice cups for concealment. To begin the game the first player shakes the phone to roll the dice. The first player then proceeds to do a bid.

The first player begins bidding, choosing any face value and the number of dice that the player believes are showing that value, under all of the cups in the game.

1s, also known as an ace, are wild. This means that they counts as any face value.

The game also includes the “Stairway to Heaven” or just “Stair” which is a series starting from one and including all dice -- eg. 1,2,3 with three dice. A player with the “Stair” has an extra dice, with all his dice counting for any face value -- eg. if a player has 1,2,3 he has 4 dice of any value

The game proceeds with turns rotating amongst players in a clockwise order. Each player has two possible reactions to a bid: to make a higher bid, or to challenge the previous bid -- typically with a call of "liar!".

To be higher the bid must be a higher quantity of any face, or the same quantity of a higher face

If the current player challenges the previous bid, all dice are revealed. If the bid is valid, the bidder wins. Otherwise, the challenger wins. Leaving the other as the loser of the round.

After a challenge every player removes a dice except the loser. The loser then begins the next round by shaking the phone.

The game ends when only one player has any dice left. Making that player the liar and eligible to buy a round of shots.
