St. Joseph's Girls' High School

St. Joseph's Girls’ High School was established in the year 1893 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy. In 1930 the school was given permanent recognition as an Angio Indian Institution by the Director of Public Instruction ( Andhra ) Madras : Vide Rec. No. 4025/30 dated 21.08.1930. In 1975 the school was permanently affiliated to the Council for I.C.S.E. New Delhi.

English is the Medium of Instruction. Telugu and Hindi are also taught in the school.

Regarding the type of education imparted in the school, in teaching a child we take into account the whole person, paying attention to each child's background and personality with the love and patience exemplified in the life of Jesus Christ. Thus our students are gradually led to self formation and to the development of sense of responsibility and concern for others.
