VAMNICOM

In India, cooperative sector is pervasive in all sectors of economy with large scale of employment in rural and urban areas. Cooperative sector is also a successful model for growth of economy, financial inclusion, employment generation and poverty alleviation. Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) is an apex national institute in cooperative education and training and it is fully funded by Government of India. In VAMNICOM campus itself, there is also Centre for International Cooperation & Training in Agricultural Banking (CICTAB) which organizes international collaborative training programmes to strengthen cooperative, agricultural and rural financing activities.CICTAB is promoted and supported by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Govt. of India, Ministry of Agriculture. CICTAB conducts training programmes in India and abroad for the participants mainly from South East Asian countries and SAARC nations.
