VaporMeister (for Crafty)

===ABSTRACT===

This applications is used to extend the functionality of the Storz & Bickel's Crafty vaporizer. It includes new features such as extending the auto-shutoff timer to 30 minutes, a graph of the temperature over time, more details and information about your vaporizer such as the charge of your battery and more.

This app was part of a hobby project and you may encounter some (software) bugs. I don't expect to fix them in the near future, as I recently found a new job that is taking a lot of time. I'll place the code on github in the near future (after adding some comments) so other people can improve it with new features and fix encountered bugs.

===THE FEATURES===

This application introduces new features to the Crafty vaporizer by Storz & Bickel. These are:

- Vaporizer scanner: scans for vaporizers to which you can connect. You are not required to enter your serial number for verification. You can add vaporizer's to your favorites to auto connect.

- Notifications: the current temperature and battery charge are shown in a notification.

- Extending shutoff time: the shutoff time is automatically reset by the app, this means you don't have to press the crafty's button anymore. It works by setting the booster temperature to its own value every 25 seconds, this extends the timer to ~30 minutes while this is normally 1minute.

- Adaptive vaping: the crafty uses a discrete temperature controller, which heats up the chamber when the temperature drops 1°C below the target temperature. This means that the vaporizer will be too long too hot when set to a temperature < ~180°C. To compensate for this the application calculates the ideal setting temperature for that target temperature. It does so by using historical data and an PI-controller algorithm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PID_controller).

- Vaporizer info: shows all information about your vaporizer that can be obtained via Bluetooth. It's a feature used by Storz & Bickel to get diagnostic info from your crafty. Some people found that this info can be obtained when pressing the Serial number in the official app 5 times and entering a password. This application does not require that password.
