  • Save a copy to Google Drive or any folder you choose. LongShot still has no internet permission.
  • The editor now always opens the capture you just took.
  • Fewer stitching errors: Chrome's toolbar no longer lands mid-page, and going to the home screen mid-capture no longer adds it to the image.
  • The pill tells you when the page is lost, so you can scroll back.
  • Hide personal data now also covers areas you only pixelated.
  • A capture interrupted by the system can be recovered.

  • New Settings (gear on the home screen): choose whether the editor opens after each capture, turn off the LongShot link when sharing, and add LongShot to Quick Settings.
  • Crop now works in full screen, and the bars no longer cover the image while you crop.
  • Chrome: its toolbar and the status bar no longer end up in the middle of a long capture, and an image that goes blank while the page reloads no longer leaves a white gap.
  • Older captures: open captures from before a reinstall.

  • Share an image to LongShot to hide personal data in the editor. Done saves a copy to your gallery; the original is untouched.
  • Hide personal data now hides a card number on the same line as its expiry date or CVV, and an IBAN even if one character is misread. The expiry date, and times or amounts just after an IBAN, stay readable.
  • First setup: the "Grant permission to start" button now looks active, and the steps also name the permission as Samsung does, "Appear on top".

  • Copy text and Hide personal data now work on long captures. They used to give up and report that the image could not be read.
  • Text is read at full resolution however long the capture is, so small print survives.
  • Copied text follows reading order now — side-by-side columns no longer interleave, and lines at tile joins are no longer pasted twice.
  • The text tools read Latin script only. Arabic is not recognised, and the app now says so where it matters.

  Capture any scrolling screen as one long screenshot. Scroll and the frames stitch into a single full-length image — no accessibility service required. This release improves capture quality: fewer gaps on fast scrolling, seamless stitching with no visible cuts, and sharper handling of animated content.
