Bright trail torch, SOS & camp lantern. Tap Beam to light your path tonight.
Need a bright, reliable torch on the trail, in camp, or when the lights go out? Flashlight App puts a large one-tap beam, a Morse SOS signal, and a warm camp lantern on your phone — ready in the dark without hunting through menus.
This is a simple LED flashlight for hikers, backpackers, festival campers, and anyone walking home after dusk. Open the app, tap Beam, and the camera LED lights the path. Switch to Camp for a full-screen lantern that will not wreck night vision. Switch to SOS when you need a recognized distress blink. Everything stays on one Torch screen with a Trail Desk strip, so your thumb never leaves the main control.
KEY FEATURES
Trail Desk on Torch
Three clear jobs sit above the big circular beam button: Beam, Camp, and SOS. Beam is a steady LED torch. Camp opens a screen lantern with Warm tent, Cool path, and Red night presets. SOS runs the classic distress pattern on the hardware flash. The last chip you used is remembered the next time you open the app.
One-tap LED torch
A large, high-contrast power circle on a black canvas is easy to hit with gloves or in a tent vestibule. Amber glow shows when the light is on. Tap again to turn it off. The torch uses the phone camera flash — no extra hardware.
Camp lantern (screen light)
When you do not want a harsh white LED in a shared tent, Camp fills the screen with a chosen color at high brightness. Warm tent is amber for cooking and packing. Cool path is a brighter white-blue for reading a map. Red night keeps more night vision for astronomy, wildlife, or late arrivals. Colors save so the lantern comes back the way you left it.
SOS distress blink
SOS uses the existing flash engine to blink a repeating SOS pattern. Use it on a dark trail, a roadside stop, or a campsite signal — then tap to stop. This is a visual signal on your phone LED, not a replacement for emergency services.
Trail blink (strobe)
The Blink tab keeps an adjustable strobe for making yourself visible to cyclists, drivers, or hiking partners on a night path. Set the frequency, tap to start, tap to stop. Simple slider, same flash hardware.
Home widget
Toggle the torch from a home-screen widget when you need light before the app UI is even open.
Optional LED alerts
Call, SMS, and app flash alerts are available from Settings if you still want the LED to blink for incoming activity. They are not on the main Trail Desk so campers are not distracted by extra tabs.
Languages and theme
Pick your language on first run and change it later in Settings. Light, Dark, or System theme. Dark is the default trail look: black background, amber controls, readable contrast.
PERFECT FOR
• Overnight campers lighting a tent without a bulky lantern
• Backpackers and trail hikers who need a pocket torch and SOS
• Festival and beach campers walking between tents after dark
• Power-outage nights at home, in a cabin, or in a hostel
• Night walks, bike paths, and parking lots worldwide
• Map reading, gear checks, and late kitchen cleanup in camp
Flashlight App is built for a global audience. Copy, colors, and SOS are international. There is no single-country camping kit, no regional emergency number baked into the product, and no market-locked currency or tax tools.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Grant the short permission primer (notifications, phone, and default home only when required) — you will see why each one helps, then Tap Allow on the next screen.
2. Choose a language.
3. Land on Torch. Use Trail Desk: Beam for the LED, Camp for the screen lantern, SOS for distress blinks.
4. Open Blink when you need a visibility strobe on a path.
