Patanjali Yoga Sutras are 196 aphorisms given by sage Patanjali. The sutras are divided into 4 'pada's (books). They talk about Yama, Niyama, Aasana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dhaarana, Dhyana and Samadhi.
