Astral Projection Guide

Astral Projection is the art of experiencing non-physical worlds while remianing fully conscious. This App acts as a helper for the practitioners, especially in the beginning of the practice. The App will read out saved instructions in a sequence at specified times. All you need to do is follow them. Tap on the picture of "Blue Face" to start/stop.

The instructions are customizable. You can add/edit the steps and groups of steps by doing a "long press" on the list item. Enter a new group/step or change existing ones, in the editor dialog that should pop-up. You can set a time delay by entering the time in MM:SS format. The time delay is the time after which an instruction will be spoken relative to the previous one.

If there are any errors in the step, it gets highlighted in orange, else it is highlighted in purple. You can also remove a step or whole group by tapping on "Remove" button in editor dialog. There is no Undo, do it only if you are sure.

Muting/unmuting the whole group can be done from the same dialog. Or a single step can be muted/unmuted. Note that muted steps are not spoken but the time wait is still applicable for that step. If you wish to skip the step and also not wait for that time, just set the time to 00:00 or remove that step entirely.

If you wish to get back the default instructions, tap on the "Back Arrow" button. Note that your changes will be lost.

You can export the whole list to a preset file from the top menu. A preset file can be loaded back in the same way. Presets are a great way to save your lists and experiment on them. You can also share the preset files with everyone. They are ordinary text/xml files. You can directlty edit them in a text editor if needed or can create your own presets in xml format with similar xml schema.

You can speed up or slow down the whole session by tapping on the "Settings" button. This will globally change the time delays in proportion to your setting. It won't change the original times in instructions.

To change the language or volume etc go to the Settings of your phone or device.

The App has a built in Journal where you can quickly write any experiences you had, before you forget them. The entry is saved when you close the journal or press any other button on the journal screen. You can export them out of the App for further editing or publishing by clicking the share button on the action bar at top. Note that changes made to past pages will not be saved.
