Paani Foundation aims for prosperous farmers through farmer cup.

Paani Foundation is a not-for-profit company founded by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao in 2016 to make Maharashtra drought free. Paani team comprises core team members of the “Satyamev Jayate” show. Paani Foundation’s CEO is Satyajit Bhatkal (Director: Satyamev Jayate) and COO is Reena Datta.

Satyamev Jayate Samruddha Gaon Spardha : Transforming rural ecology and the rural economy!

From 2016 to 2019, we hosted the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup, a competition in which thousands of villages participated to do the best work in water and soil conservation. Bolstered by its success, we launched the Satyamev Jayate Samruddha Gaon Spardha in 2020, a larger competition aimed at transforming rural ecology and the rural economy

in Maharashtra.

Increase in the income of farmers is one of the pillars of samruddha gaon spardha. Farmer cup is a competitive which will help farmers to achieve this aim. Farmer Cup will motivate farmers to collectively tackle all the problems faced by them. Group farming can become like a magical wand to do farming efficiently.
