Gold Coast River Charters

Your professional fishing guides Brad and Clint have combined experience of over 40 years in the Surfers Paradise, Southport, Gold Coast, Jumpinpin, and Tweed region and will provide a great day’s fishing and cruising along South Stradbroke island, only one hour’s drive from Brisbane!

Our charters cater for anglers of all ages and experience, and we specialise in private charters for small groups. Our trips are all on calm water so no seasickness to worry about.

Main Target species are Flathead, Whiting, Bream, Tailor, Trevally, Mulloway and Mangrove Jack. We target estuary and reef fish with lures and bait on the beautiful, calm waters of the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales region.

We love nothing more than educating families with kids, catching whiting, flathead or bream with fresh bait, or trolling and casting lures for a variety of species.

We don’t just catch fish, we teach you the secrets of how, where and when. Charters available for 1 to 4 people.

Tuition- rigging, tying leaders, lure tuning and selection, bait presentation

Fishing over a large area of hotspots including tweed river main arm, terranora creek and lakes, nerang river, gold coast broadwater, coomera river, jumpinpin and depths from 0.5m to 20m.

Species encountered: mangrove jacks, jewfish, flathead, whiting, bream, trevally, tuskfish, squid, tarwhine, luderick, tuskfish, snapper, tailor, flounder, plus many other calm water estuary and reef species.
