Samsung Pay: How does it work?

When using the phone: by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, the Samsung Pay app will be launched and your default card will appear along with a message to authenticate the payment with their fingerprint, or iris scanner on a compatible device.

If a different card is required, swiping left or right will bring up another card stored on your phone.

After the payment is biometrically authorized, the phone notifies you to touch it to the contactless payment reader and bingo, the payment is made via NFC (close communication).
