About Jillian Rose Reed

Jillian knew that she was destined for Hollywood at the young age of 5 when she attended her first theater camp, where her love for the stage and her passion for singing, acting and dancing grew with over thirty musical productions by the age of 13. Jillian's love for the camera also grew after booking several commercials and voice overs in the Detroit/Chicago markets. These jobs gave Jillian the jump-start she needed to persuade her family to start commuting from her hometown of Northville Michigan to pursue her acting career. After just a couple of months, Jillian landed a role as a performer in a teen comedy troupe and several independent films, and in 2008 she booked her first role as Goth-Girl Simone on the hit Showtime series Weeds. It was then that Jillian's commutes turned into a permanent move. Jillian has established herself as a working actor with a vibrant presence that is evident in each role she accepts. Jillian has enjoyed Guest Star roles on shows such as Hung, The Middle, Community, and as Tessa on Disney XD's Pair of Kings. Jillian is also a series regular on the MTV series Awkward, where she plays the zany, carefree and confident Tamara.
