My Generator

I came up with a way to help remember the do’s and don’ts of running, maintenance a generator. Because I don’t use the generator that often, I often searching for the manual so I can properly maintain it. So, I designed an app that I cannot lose in the house, garage, or any unknown places. It’s always in arms reach.

This app is designed to show you the basics of a generator but it mirrors the basic operations of the DuroStar DS4000s generator manual. Now, what you need to know about this app is that it just gives you the basics only after you have read the manufacturer manual completely. Warning, failure to read the manual could result in serious injuries for you or others. The manual goes into steps to take care of your generator properly. This app serves as a reminder of the things to do without the how-to videos or instructions.

A generator is not a toy, because of the gas and oil used to run it. Practice safety first. I would also go to your local fire department to get advice on what to do in case of a generator fire. Strongly recommended, keep away from kids and point the muffler away from the house.
