The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a humorous science fiction novel by English writer Douglas Adams. The first book of the series of the same name. Along with Trillian and robot Marvin, Zaphod is looking for the legendary planet of Magratei. The Hitchhiker’s book Guide to the Galaxy was inspired by Adams in Austria, while hitchhiking to Istanbul. The story was originally embodied as a radio show for BBC Radio, which premiered on March 8, 1978. After the release of the last series of radio shows, Adams received an offer from two publishers about the publication of the “Guide ...” as an art book. Adams invited the role of co-author John Lloyd (Eng.) Russian., Helps him write the script for the last two episodes for a radio show. They went to work on a book in Greece, where they broke all the deadlines for submitting the manuscript.
