Headless Horseman Pet Trait
Once acquired, the Headless Horseman pet exhibits a unique haunting ability every 40 minutes. It targets one randomly chosen pet in the player's garden that is of around level 50 and does not have a mutation, resetting its level to 1. Then, the pet gains one of four chaotic mutations: Dreadbound, Soulflame, Spectral, or a very rare 2% chance of Nightmare mutation. These mutations provide powerful evolutionary benefits that are highly desirable for competitive gardening and pet battles.
About Grow a Garden Halloween Event
The core of the Halloween event (Ghoul Event) revolves around the Witch NPC and her cauldron located in the event area. Players contribute their harvested fruits and crops to fill the Witch’s cauldron, a collective server effort. Each fruit added contributes points to the cauldron’s progress bar. When filled to 100%, the cauldron rewards contributors with event currency called Candy Corn and various prizes including Spooky Eggs, seeds, and more. The faster and more one contributes, the more Candy Corn they earn, allowing more purchases in the event market.
Additionally, Ancient Jack O’Lanterns spawn hourly for brief intervals and can be defeated to gain additional Candy Corn. This event currency is the key to accessing the Halloween Market stalls where the Spooky Egg is sold.
The Halloween event also introduces a new weather called “Ghostly,” which affects gameplay by applying possession mutations to fruits and plants. Event-exclusive seeds such as the Great Pumpkin seed offer the Ghostly mutation to plants. There are three main shops in the Halloween Market:
