Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon His Messenger. To proceed:

It was mentioned in the Book of God Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, urging the recitation of the Holy Qur’an in its entirety, and forbidding abandoning it, as the Almighty said on the tongue of His Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “And I have been commanded to be among the Muslims * and to recite the Qur’an” (An-Naml: 91-92). And as in the Almighty’s saying: Recite what was revealed to you from the Book and establish prayer (Al-Ankabut: 45). And the Almighty says: And the Messenger said, O Lord, my people have abandoned this Qur’an (Al-Furqan: 30).

These verses command the reading of the entire Qur’an, and warn against abandoning it, and as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Read the Qur’an, for it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection. On the authority of their companions, read Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing and leaving it is a loss, and the heroine cannot do it. Muawiyah said: I have been informed that the heroines are magicians.
