حكم عدم إزالة شعر الإبط والعان

Whoever abandons removing armpit or pubic hair is considered contrary to the Sunnah, and on this basis he has done something hated. Removing armpit hair and pubic hair is one of the Sunnahs of instinct that the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - urged to do.

It is proven in the hadith of the Prophet that the Messenger of God said: (The fitrah is five - or five from the fitrah -: circumcision, pubic hair, plucking the armpits, trimming the nails, and trimming the moustache), and there is no disagreement among the scholars on this. Removing armpit hair and pubic hair is legitimate, in fact it is commanded , whether by plucking, shaving, or any other means to achieve that.
