كتاب صحيح البخاري

It is the most prominent book of the Prophet’s hadith among Sunni Muslims. It was compiled by Imam Muhammad bin Ismail al-Bukhari, and it took him sixteen years to edit it. He selected his hadiths from six hundred thousand hadiths that he collected. The book occupies an advanced position among the Sunnis, as it is one of the six books that are considered among the most important sources of hadith among them, and it is the first book classified in the pure authentic hadith as It is considered by them to be the most correct book after the Holy Qur’an.(1) The book of Sahih al-Bukhari is considered one of the books of the mosques, and it contains all the chapters of hadith, including beliefs, rulings, interpretation, history, asceticism, etiquette, and others.

The book gained wide fame during the life of Imam al-Bukhari. It was narrated that more than seventy thousand people heard it from him, and its fame extended to contemporary times and it received great acceptance and interest from scholars. Many books were written around it, including explanations, summaries, comments, supplements, extracts, and others related to the sciences of hadith, until some historians reported that a number His explanations alone amounted to more than eighty-two explanations.
