During the restoration of the "Locanda of Bir al-Watawait" adjacent to the "Ahmed Ibn Tulun" mosque in the "Sayeda Zainab" neighborhood, diaries dating back to 1865 AD were found, buried behind the wall of Room No. 7 on the third floor of the Locanda building, and are well preserved.

This book includes the diaries from number "34" to "53" without deletion or revision, and it is the only diary that is suitable for publication, in which the photographer of the dead "Suleiman Effendi Al-Sioufi" chronicled in the years before the establishment of an organized police apparatus, when he was assigned to investigate the truth about the death of One of the pashas, ​​in a heinous way, and with his inherited experience in analyzing the crime scene, discovers that the death behind it was premeditated murder, and an actor who left with his victim a souvenir, before he discovered that this crime was only the first crime in a series of assassinations, he realized without effort that it would end with him.
