How and when to plant betel nut

Betel cultivation is considered to be from June to December. The land needs to be watered two to three times till the soil is compacted, and the field should be kept weed free. September to October and May to June are recommended for sowing this crop. The distance of 2.7 x 2.7 m is suitable for betel planting.

Shrivardhani should be selected for betel cultivation.

The betel nut of this variety is large, has a high proportion of white grass and is soft. This betel nut is attractive in size and therefore the price is good.
