Nijasaran Ambigar Choudaiya lived in 12th century Shivasaran and Vachankara. He was born in 1160 AD in Ranebennur taluk of Haveri district in Chaudadanapura. Ambigar Choudaiah's original name was Chaudesha. His mother's name is Pampadevi and father's name is Virupaksha. He has a different and unique personality from all the other speakers. He was busy ferrying people from one bank to the other in his boat on the banks of the Tungabha river in Chaudadanpur during the reign of the Guttalar kings.
