2048 Dark+

2048 Dark+ is played by joining the same numbered tiles together to convert them into a bigger number, adding to the score.

The game is won when a 2048 tile appears on the board.

Personal message from the developer:

Earlier this year I lost most of my vision over a 4-5 week period and even now doctors are unable to tell me exactly what caused it.

It was pretty scary and as it was happening I found it painful to look in the direction of bright light and at screens with a white background.

Given the nature of my work this sudden visual impairment was devastating to me and came as a big shock. Fortunately I had eye surgery in August and I can see perfectly again in my left eye.

After doing more research into eye problems such as cataracts and because of my experience I realized just how important "dark mode" is for a lot of people and decided to create a better version of the popular 2048 game.

I didn't put ads in the game because I wanted full control over the visual experience to ensure people with eye problems don't suffer.

This app is personally meaningful to me and I hope it helps you if you're struggling with visual impairment, this app is dedicated to you and I wish you the very best.

I encourage other developers to think hard about "dark mode" and make it a feature of apps and websites, it's more important than you might realize.
