4Angels is a GPS-based app for tracking children that helps parents track their child’s location. Through our app, parents can also set reminders for pick-ups and drop-offs. 4Angels is available on Android and iOS. It is built for parents, schools, and school bus drivers to allow parents to accurately track and pinpoint their child’s location. The driver’s location will be tracked by the parents whose children are assigned to this driver by the school.

STEPS AND THINGS PARENTS CAN DO:

1. Download the Android App (Parent) from the Google Play Store on an Android phone, or download the iOS app from the Apple App Store on an iPhone.

2. The school should have added you, if not, ask your child’s school to “Sign Up” on our website.

3. Log in to our app and set your preferred pick-up and drop-off locations. (You can always change these later!)

4. Parents can set their preferences to receive notifications from the app.

5. The app receives school bus location updates in real-time without pooling the server. The driver’s location can be tracked by parents who were assigned to the driver.

6. Parents can contact the bus driver through the app.

7. Parents and the school can receive danger alert notifications if the bus driver senses danger, such as kidnappers.

8. Parents can use the app’s inbuilt contact form to contact the school.

STEPS AND THINGS SCHOOL CAN DO

Pick the package of your choice and sign up.

2. You will receive the following resources:

- Admin Panel

- Driver’s App (Android and iOS)

- Parent’s App (Android and iOS)

3. Log in to the Admin Panel and add your school’s bus driver(s) and students’ parents. You can add an unlimited number of parents regardless of the package selected.

4. Ask your school’s driver(s) to download the Driver’s App on either the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).

5. Parents can sign in to the app with the phone number that is registered under their name at school. The app will send an SMS verification code to verify the entered phone number.

6. On the Dashboard, the school can view registered parents and drivers and view statistics about the mobile app’s usage.

7. The school’s address can be updated by writing its address. 4Angels uses the Google Maps Places API to show a list of addresses that will match your entered address.

8. The school can manage drivers with add, read, update, and delete capabilities, and can view the driver’s real-time location on the map.

9. The school can also manage parents with add, read, update, and delete capabilities, and can view a parent’s preferred pick-up and drop-off locations on the map.

STEPS AND THINGS DRIVERS CAN DO

1. Download the 4Angels App from the Google Play Store if you are using an Android phone, or from the Apple App Store if you are using an iPhone. Make sure that you are downloading the driver’s app.

2. Make sure that you have been added by the school’s administration. If they have not added you to their account, you will not be able to log in to the system.

3. Ask your school’s administration to join the platform if they are not yet signed up.

4. Once you log in as a driver, you can view the preferred pick-up and drop-off locations of the parents assigned to you. (You can only see the preferences of the parents who are assigned to you if there are many drivers for the school).

5. Drivers can search parents by name or phone number and are able to contact them through the app.

6. Drivers can sign in to the app by entering their phone number that is registered with the school. The app will send an SMS verification code to verify the entered phone number.

7. Drivers can trigger the app’s danger alert if they sense danger.
