Ability Test Book Volume 2

This App is designed to prepare students at the grades 4-6 levels in the

skill-sets required for the PEP Ability Test. The Test is an assessment of reasoning skills which are both verbal and nonverbal.

The types of reasoning incorporated in the text involve verbal and quantitative reasoning.

These reasoning abilities form essential skill-sets for students’ application of

concepts in all subject areas and are therefore both critical and fundamental to scholastic achievement.

Teachers are encouraged to guide students in the step-by-step process of

reasoning each question, reinforcing always, the sequential stages of thinking, prior to seeking answers.
