aHOPE - Application for Homestead Procurement and E-Payment - is an easy to use application for full time or part time farmers. If you have a crop growing in your farm or homestead, you can use aHOPE to understand its true market value in your area and sell it to a nearby agent of your choice. Door step pick up and online payment ensures that even the part-time farmer can use this application and supply home grown crops to the market.

In addition to selling crops, you can use aHOPE to request for farm services such as harvesting, manure application, organic certification and so on.

Using aHOPE is really easy!

1. Open the application and tell us what you will be using aHOPE for - selling your crop or requesting for farm services.

2. Choose the location where the service is to be made.

3. Choose the crop you want to sell/ service you want to book.

4. Choose a comfortable date for pick up.

5. Get paid.

The App for Homestead Procurement and E-Payment (aHOPE) is being developed to specifically cater to the Homestead’s requirement through best-in-class mobile technology.

Homesteads or small holding farms are distinct in their needs in terms of procurement of produce, Payment and Services. Conventional procurement models that are applicable to large farms do not apply to small-scale organic farms/ homesteads. Homesteads have unique requirements of door-step farm services through a single window i.e. services such as procurement of small quantities of diverse produce, guidance in obtaining certification, traceability, farm advisory and related services.

This app integrates the different stakeholders including the Government, Farmer Producer Companies, self-help groups, markets- buyers, intermediaries and customers.
