In modern education students need to focus on passing the exams. After finals, a new term starts and students put away old books to give space to new ones. They have no time nor encouragement to stay engaged with former subjects. As times goes by memory fades, and as time goes by a little further students must remember about those subjects for new lectures or work.

This problem is so human that people look at it as inevitable. We don’t think so. There is a very simple solution: engage students with former lectures. We make engagement with former lectures fun and accessible.

We brought the popularity from quiz games and accessibility from mobile apps together with the academic knowledge students have. Playing Akamu students challenge each other to matches, answering questions from former subjects. Students who play often, may exchange gained points for prizes or even coffee at the university.
