ALT-EGO stands for Alternative Ego’s. You save quotes to aspire to, but you are not the same person every moment of the day, depending on where you are in your personal or work life, you take on different roles and attitudes. With ALT-EGO you can save your quotes based on self-chosen Egos.

Why we do what we do

Books come with many quotes so aspirational, wise, or entertaining you want to cherish that and live up to it. Most start highlighting, underlining or copy that passage or quote, however, when the book is finished, its passages, that spoke so dearly to you, go back on the shelf, or back to a friend, or back to the library. 

This app gathers all your quotes in one place based on categories, called Ego’s, that you have created. So even if you have to return your book, or you give it to another person, or simply put it back on the shelf to be forgotten, the most important quotes to you will be kept. The app provides you with the option to write down the passage, or convert a picture of a book passage into text. You can also add the book title and its author. This way you will not only have quick access to your quotes, but you will also remember who inspired you.
