AN Radhakrishnan as ANR in friend circles, Radhakrishnan became a full-time RSS activist after completing his degree course and worked across Kannur district. The positions he held in the party include Yuva Morcha state vice-president, Ernakulam district president, zonal president, state secretary, state secretary general and national executive committee member.

He is one of the main organisers of various yatras by the BJP in Kerala and was also in the forefront of various agitations
