Aswamedham, a Malayalam language newspaper, is one of the oldest newspapers published from New York. Aswamedham is the oldest Malayalam newspaper incorporated in USA now reaching more than 60 countries. Started in 1978 by Mr.Rajan Maret (Former President of Balajanasakhyam ,First President of FOKANA), it is the oldest Malayalam newspaper now in USA. Mr. Madhu Kottarakara is the Managing Director and Well known writer and former FOKANA Secretary Mr.Raju Mylapra is the Chief Editor of the newspaper.
