His big break came when he was featured on the Furious 7 song “See You Again”, which he had originally written years earlier about a friend’s death. and stayed there for twelve weeks, becoming the longest-running rap number one along with Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”

His first project, The Otto Tunes, was released in 2010, with the title being a play on his middle name, Otto, and autotune. His second release, Ego, was also self-produced and dropped in October 2013.
