Baran is an Iranian singer of kurdish descent.[1] She is the youngest of four siblings and was born on January 4, 1988, in Mahabad, Iran. She attracted attention for her single track "Baran Ziadi".

She released her first album in 2013. Baran's first pop single, "Hesse Asheghi",[2] was re-released with the Iranian pop singer Jamshid. Baran worked on her first album alongside Payam Shams. On February 26, 2013, Baran's single "Ziyadi" was released;[3] it was written
