Flux Pad

Flux Pad is a fast, private note-taking app built around a colorful bento-grid layout. Every note is a card: a colored top band, a bold title, a preview, and a tag. Five card types. One floating button to add more. No accounts. No cloud. Everything stays on your device.

FIVE NOTE TYPES

PROSE free-form text. A thought, a paragraph, a reflection.

CHECK a checklist. Tap to open and tick items off.

LIST a bullet list. One item per line.

QUOTE a pull quote with an accent color.

CODE a code or command snippet.

Each type has its own neon accent: electric indigo for PROSE, neon teal for CHECK, warm gold for LIST, hot pink for QUOTE, cyan for CODE. Cards are color-coded so you see what you have at a glance.

THE GRID

A slim header shows the app name and your current streak badge. Below it, four scrollable filter chips: All, Pinned, Recent, Archive. A search bar filters notes instantly as you type. The rest of the screen is a two-column bento grid -- all your notes as vivid cards. A floating + button sits in the bottom-right corner. Tap it to write a new note.

TAGS

Every note can have one tag (a short word like work or ideas). The Tags screen shows a flowing cloud of colored tag pills with note counts. Tap any pill to see the notes inside it. A mode dashboard at the top shows how many notes of each type you have.

PIN NOTES

Long-press any card to pin it, archive it, or delete it. Pinned notes show a * mark and appear at the top of the Pinned filter.

ARCHIVE

Archive notes to keep them out of the main grid without deleting them. The Archive filter shows archived notes. Clear the archive from the Config screen.

STREAK

A live day-streak counter in the header badge. Write at least one note per day to keep the streak alive. Hit 3, 7, 14, 30, 100, 180, or 365 days and the header shows a milestone.

SEARCH

A search bar above the grid filters by title, body, or tag as you type.

CONFIG

- Dark theme (deep indigo) or light theme (pale blue-white).

- Font size: small, medium, large.

- Default note type.

- Sort order: recent edit, title, manual, type.

- Show archived in main grid.

- Haptic feedback on or off.

- Clear archive.

- Delete all notes.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE

- Entirely offline. No internet required.

- All notes stay on your device.

- Encrypted with AES at rest, key held in the Android Keystore.

- No analytics, no accounts, no tracking.
