It includes 28 Gens games from a spread of genres and starting from 1989–1996, also as five unlockable classic arcade games.

A later game was released called Ultimate Gens Collection, and has most an equivalent games featured during this collection, plus several more.

This Compilation features two classic the Hedgehog series titles: Hedgehog and Hedgehog 2.
