Hukum Jihad Siyasah & Damai

Jihad is a serious effort to defend the Islamic religion by sacrificing property, life and body.

According to Ibn Qoyyim, all Muslims must fight in various forms of jihad, while jihad with life is fardhu kifayah while jihad with property is obligatory.

Jihad in the way of Allah consists of 4 types, namely:

1. Defend yourself from enemy attacks.

2. Establish the religion of Allah and to exalt Him.

3. Try to free yourself from Satan's temptations.

4. Fighting lust.

Terminologically in the book Lisan al-Arab, what is meant by the word siyasah is to organize or lead something in a way that leads to benefit.
