Designed by Brigitte Stanké, Speech-Language Pathologist, and developed based on the latest research on learning to read, this app allows a child to gradually develop the skills needed to learn to read and spell words. Madam Word is specifically aimed at children from 6 to 10 years, but it is suitable for preschoolers.

Madam Word likes words. We could say that she really enjoys words! Walking through a city, discover seven places that are opportunities to learn new things. This app showcases engaging characters that accompany kids in their journey.

The eight activities are aimed at fostering the development of the skills that

underlie the development of the processes necessary for learning to read and spell,

namely phonological awareness and orthographic lexical memory. Madam Word

can also be a re-education tool for children with reading and spelling difficulties.
