PrevKit is a mobile application designed to aid families in effectively planning and preparing for various disasters. It allows users to easily create, monitor and manage a disaster plan.

Communities with the Prevkit disaster plan can perform a variety of tasks. They could either record their plan of action in the Disaster Plan or they could make a listing of their current possessions in the Inventory. PrevKit is built to help people who are inexperienced with disaster planning create and their own disaster plan if they are inexperienced with disaster planning, they could use the item recommendation checklist as well as the built-in templates to enlighten them in what items to procure and actions to take.

Moreover, PrevKit is an application built for coordination and collaboration. It enables the creation of a group wherein members can divide tasks found in the to-do list, assign people to buy essential supplies and give instructions on what to do before, during and after the disaster.
