Remote Camera - Cam Custodia

Stream your video camera from remote computer's browser in a network. View your video preview from remote using desktop or laptop. It can also act as your remote surveillance video either for security or fun. By turning the device to sleep while running the application, you can preview the video secretly. You can also use it to watch and monitor your baby asleep while working late night at your study room.

How to use:-

At Android Device

1. Install and run the app

2. Switch on WiFi and the app will display the device IP and Port no

At Computer

1. You need to install VLC and activate the browser's plugin

2. Open your browser (we use Mozilla)

2. Enter the IP and Port no as displayed on your Android device (eg: 192.168.1.3:8080)

3. If successful, you can view the control panel to Start Streaming or perform other functions

Besides streaming live video, you can also perform the following functions from remote browser:-

1. Modify the camera setting

2. Turn on/off the camera flash

3. Vibrate the device

4. Ring the device

5. Switch front or back camera

We cannot guarantee the app can work on all devices but you may try your luck.
