Ricky Nanjero

Born Patrick Enos Lukhachi Nanjero, in Nairobi on 8 October 1980, Ricky is a bassist, arranger and a bass instructor.

Ricky began his solo career in 2009 by forming a five-piece band called Ricky na Marafiki, Together They released an album, 'TUCHEZE' in 2010.The album is an instrumentals bass album where bass guitar is featured strongly in all the songs. In this collection, he endeavors to take the listener through the transition of Nairobi's music over the various musical eras. It is a blend of both the traditional and modern Kenyan music styles

Ricky and the band have just finished working on a second album called BASSiq Elements the album has the best of Afro jazz song some are sung and some instrumental bassiq elements are the elements that make bass sound great as interpreted by Ricky na Marafiki
