RTTTL Editor (Text Music)

RTTTTL - نغمات الرنين نص محرر لغة نقل للكتابة واللعب الإيقاعات.

A simple text editor which can play music notes. An old text based ringtone editor just like the ones were present in Nokia phones. Even if you don't know what RTTTL is doesn't matter at all. Just type music notes and press play button to hear the notes. Use little but sufficient help within app.

NO SAVE or LOAD present in this 1st release. Please use copy-paste to load and save from external text. Save & load requires read-write permission which can be added later.

This app edits and plays RTTTL (Ringing Tones Text Transfer language) music format. These types of text based authoring tools are extremely important. It looks simple but builds foundation of great music. How perfectly can we play 10 music notes of 1/3 or 1/10 second duration?. This is why i started working on this app. I found MML Music Macro Language apps but their mml format support were very confusing. RTTTL was easy and simple yet powerful so i made one. Few seconds of rhythm makes foundation of a music and with text based tool this can be achieved. I am happy with text based music tools and now realize their importance!. I use these types of apps with very high BPM and short notes to build audio effects.

RTTTL is easy for both user and developer. I can invest time into it to add more useful features. Never underestimate text based music authoring tools. I just realized their importance. I can make Raag/Rhythm of few seconds and merge them using a daw like Linux MultiMedia Studio or Fruity Loops like apps to build complex Musics. But the heart of music resides in the small order we make precisely.
