Southern Makers is a two Day event celebrating southern creativity, lifestyle, and innovation by bringing together handpicked talent for one fantastic gathering. Together, we celebrate the best of the South within a curated platform for the most skilled and accomplished Makers in their respective trades where they can connect with one another, while attracting adventurers from all over the country to experience a cross section of Alabama’s finest.

If you are curious and enjoy southern culture, this is the event for you. Rich with history in textiles, agriculture, food, literature, architecture, art and design, Southern Makers is a hands-on educational 2-day event where visitors can learn, participate, converse and purchase from the Makers themselves. Through panel discussions, artist talks, interactive workshops and a market bazaar, the event brings home-grown to life, going a step beyond American-made to Southern-made.
