In the heart of Big 5 Safari country in Southern Africa, lies Tangala - the most authentic safari camp in the internationally renowned Thornybush game reserve.

Tangala has been around since 1944, so we know what authenticity is.

In our safari camp we keep things simple, so that our guests can enjoy a true bush experience. It's a taste of great grandfather's game farm, back in the day: log fires, home cooked Boer meals, lamp-lit pathways and cosy beds.

Of course we’re star-graded, but the stars that really count are the ones overhead that light up the clearest of night skies.
