Theekkathir, published by the Toiling Masses Welfare Trust, has been the voice of the people and spoken truth to power for 60 years. It was born from the money collected by poor mill workers in Coimbatore and ever since, has tackled many no other organization has. Theekkathir is especially known for the quality and sharpness of its editorial and opinion pieces and its informative pages at a time when news has been replaced with sensationalism.
